Anatomy of Civics

In order to effectively advocate for change, nurses need foundational knowledge in the political and governmental process. Unfortunately, many high school and nursing programs don't promote the civics process in their curriculum. This hinders nurses from engaging with elected officials and prevents them from advocating for their patients beyond the bedside.

With our Anatomy of Civics program, we're here to go back to basics. Anatomy and Physiology is one of the first, if not the initial course in nursing programs. We'll breakdown the governmental, political, and civics processes into bite sized pieces on socials and our website.

In Anatomy of Civics topics will be broken down via three different lengths to facilitate education based on individuals' capacity, availability, and time. These videos will be 30-second highlights, 3-minute overviews, and 10-minute in-depth breakdowns.
